Tastebound: food and travel magazine printing
Tastebound’s concept sits alongside its title on the front cover: ‘Where to go, What to eat’. The magazine is dedicated to two of life’s great pleasures: travel and food.
Issue 3 of the mag is dedicated to escaping the algorithm. Inside you’ll find articles on everywhere from the Zillertal Alps to Bury St Edmunds, tips for travellers, and a round-up of recipes from cookbooks published that season. All of which are illustrated with gorgeous location photography and sumptuous shots of dishes.
Matching the indulgence of the content, Tastebound’s text pages are printed on Magno Matt, a triple coated high white stock that gives superb ink contrast with the feel of an uncoated stock.
The cover is printed on Magno Satin, a brilliant white stock that’s perfect for capturing eye-catching photography. A gloss laminate finish was added to the cover to add extra protection and shine.
Both cover and text pages are high bulk stocks, meaning that the paper has greater air content. They have a lower weight per page but still feel luxurious in the hand, making the magazine lighter to ship or to slip into a suitcase and take on the road.
